LAB MANAGER DESIGN DIGITAL SUMMIT
Building or Remodeling the Optimized Lab
Science and technology are constantly evolving and advancing, and laboratory facilities need to keep up with these advancements. Labs constructed decades years ago may need to be renovated or replaced in order to meet the needs of today’s researchers, or new facilities may need to be built in order to accommodate new research and company growth—and it’s up to design/build teams to work together with lab managers and staffers to draft a workable plan for these spaces.
Lab Manager will host industry experts speaking on these issues and more during its Design Digital Summit on May 11-13, 2021. Lab designers and planners will outline effective collaboration strategies between lab managers and design/build teams, describing how to develop a blueprint that satisfies many different requests while setting realistic goals. Learn effective strategies for gathering feedback from those who use and manage the lab, how to effectively adjust impractical expectations, and how to incorporate ideas into a design plan while staying on-schedule and on-budget. The winners of Lab Manager’s second annual Lab Design Excellence Awards will also present case studies of their winning designs, showcasing the best new design strategies in Innovation, Safety, and Sustainability in today’s labs.
