About The Event

The 2025 Lab Manager Leadership Summit will take place April 7-9 in Pittsburgh, PA. Now in its fifth year, the in-person Leadership Summit provides current and aspiring lab leaders with the skills and knowledge required to run their labs like a business.

Expert speakers will offer actionable advice to overcome key challenges for today’s labs while workshops and roundtable discussions provide attendees with hands-on, interactive experiences designed by lab professionals for lab professionals.

Discussions will focus on topics such as: inspiring staff, effectively communicating through difficult scenarios, establishing a culture of lab quality, planning for future unknowns, sustainability-focused decision-making, and business management skills, among others.

Back by popular demand! The 2025 Leadership Summit will once again feature attendee-favorites, like clinical- and safety-specific educational sessions and behind-the-scenes lab tours. This year, workshops will be offered in partnership with Lab Manager Academy. Instructors from LMA will bring their eLearning courses to the Summit and provide real-time instruction and guidance to attendees.

Finally, the winners of the Leadership Excellence Awards and the Safety Excellence Awards are also honored at this can’t-miss event.
