WOMEN LEADERS IN SCIENCE DIGITAL SUMMIT
Helping Women Reach Their Leadership Potential
Lab managers are constantly striving to embrace their sense of self and individuality. Recognizing that these are important factors when pursuing a career in science is critical for diversity and inclusion. Women in the scientific community have historically been underrepresented and underserved in positions of leadership and management. Gender bias has slowed the advancement of women in high-power positions in STEM, so developing strategies that allow qualified individuals to advance in their respective careers is critical.
Join Lab Manager as we provide a platform for women highly recognized and accomplished in their fields to speak on various topics surrounding women in our Women Leaders in Science digital summit. Being held on March 14-15, 2023, these speakers will share their experiences by addressing the challenges that many women face, along with providing advice to those looking to advance in their careers or are working towards a leadership position. By facilitating this sharing of knowledge, viewers can find a sense of community and identify themselves through these speakers' journeys. This two-day summit will provide improved career development guidance to the women on staff. In addition, provide advice to young women on how to address the challenges and obstacles they face to reach their goals and command a room. Audience members are encouraged to participate in a Q&A with speakers following each session. Let Lab Manager be the platform used to engage with your community.
